This article states the current state of affair in the industry. It seems this has not changed for for so long.

I think no one can make a good career as a freelance Service Engineer in Plastics processing Industry. Many engineers known to me did not have pleasant experience in the past. This is because the plastics processing industry is in small scale sector. Their thinking is very primitive. They do not give priority for good upkeep of the machine and factory. Payment for servicing is not a priority at all.
Why AMC is not tried out?
Wishing all service engineers very best.

Even after almost an year after posting this blog there is not much change in the way the Plastics Industry's behavior in paying dues to services rendered by them.

It is a SHAME that the Every Owner/Managing Director of the Plastics Industry is using the lowest cadre of maintenance people to build their muscles.

It is nothing less than Corporate Begging.
